House Rules

No parties or loud music. If you do not follow this rule YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. No Smoking inside the home. If guests smoke outside all cigarette butts must be removed.
No glass near the pool, No Animals inside or outside the home whatsoever. Our housekeepers will know if you don't follow and an extra charge will be enforced. Parking for 3 vehicles only....do not risk our permit by parking more than 3. Do not block the sidewalk with a vehicle. Our neighbor will take a picture and send it to code enforcement.
Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 9pm to 8am.
We do have a ring camera doorbell to monitor the front of our home.
If you unplug wifi we will have to send a handyman over to reconnect our home to wifi and you will be charged for the trip.


Although we try not to disrupt your stay, we have maintenance workers who service the pool, landscaping, pest control etc. who may need to access the property during your stay. It's not an option to turn them away. It takes a team to maintain a beach house and we appreciate your understanding.

The space
This Newly Remodeled home has an open concept that makes it PERFECT for a vacation away with family and friends. The kitchen opens into the living area and includes an adorable coffee bar nook adjacent to the large dining table. **TWO of the Four bedrooms are on main level as well as the laundry closet with washer/dryer. Upstairs you will find TWO Primary Suites as well as a built In Loft Bed. Enjoy coffee or cocktails outdoors on one of the two levels of the double deck overlooking the pool.
Guest access
You have access to the entire home and the community amenities which include a community pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and a sand volleyball court. This ideal location is a short distance from several beach front restaurants and a few miles from Destin Commons and Silver Sands! Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. It’s often the epicenter of Destin with outdoor musical productions, dog costume contests and fun activities for kids like bungee trampoline. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids and features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of watersports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Neighborhood overview
This hot spot of Destin is probably the most sought after vacation location in the area. "The Cashmere Coconut" is located in a private community where the streets are lined with upscale luxurious beach cottages. Scenic Hwy 98 curves past a unique blend of beach homes and hot spots like The Crab Trap -- a tourist favorite! Kenny D's and Pompano Joes are convenient and close to us and great places on the water to enjoy a meal, cocktails, and watch the emerald hues of the ocean and a fantastic beach sunset.
Getting around
We offer a street legal battery powered golf cart at the property for rent to help you navigate the area without worrying about parking your car. If you choose to rent the golf cart it must be rented for your entire stay. Our cart is from Destin Golf Cart Rental and we use their seasonal rate structure. You must be 25 to lease and drive a street legal cart and an insurance lease agreement must be signed.

You can walk to the beach in 3 minutes as we are only a block to the Private, Gated Beach Access which is one of the many luxuries of staying in this gorgeous neighborhood. The house is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, and two umbrellas.

If you're looking for a larger public beach the next beach east, James Lee Public Park, is also very accessible. There you will find public restrooms and showers, The Crab Trap Restaurant and Bar, and a large public beach with parking for our golf cart.

It's easy to get back and forth from the beach to the house if you need to go back to freshen up your beverages, ice or use the facilities.
